Our Story

We are Olivia and Rashaid Blocker, the founders of Blocker Family Learning and full-time elementary school teachers. With both of us holding master’s degrees in education and years of experience in the classroom, we’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes when families are actively involved in their children's learning. That’s why we started this small business—to partner with parents and caregivers by providing educational resources that are easy to use at home and truly make a difference.

 Our first products focused on reading materials for younger students—things like phonics activities, beginner readers, and fun comprehension tools that we’ve successfully used with our own students. Everything we create is grounded in our teaching experience and designed to help parents support their child’s education in meaningful, stress-free ways.

As Blocker Family Learning grows, so does our vision. We're currently developing materials for older students and expanding into additional areas of learning to support kids at various stages. Whether your child is just starting to read or already diving into chapter books, our goal is to give you the tools you need to help them succeed. We believe that learning should be a team effort between home and school, and we're excited to walk that journey with you.
